PONTOON BEACH, IL (July 16th, 2010)- Earl Pearson Jr. of Jacksonville, FL won a series record, fourth straight Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series event, tonight at Tri-City Speedway. He took home the $10,000 payday in winning the "Budweiser 50". Pearson withstood a mid-race challenge from several drivers as he went on to lead all 50 laps of the event. It was his seventh series win of the year.

Pontoon Beach, IL - July 9, 2010 - Just like in 2009, Jason Feger was the man to beat Friday Night at Tri-City Speedway, the 21st stop of the DIRTcar Summer Nationals Tour.
The Bloomington, Ill., native started early in the evening capturing quick-time honors overall and never relented. Feger, the 2009 DIRTcar Late Model National Champion would then dominate his heat race on his way to leading all 40-laps of the feature where he lapped everyone outside the top five. Feger's repeat performance of his first ever Hell Tour victory earned him $10,000.

Pontoon Beach, IL (July 9, 2010) Michael Long of Quincy, Illinois claimed the $1,000 winner's check as he piloted his UMP DIRTcar Modified to victory at Tri-City Speedway. Long appeared to be on his way to a relatively easy dominating win as he opened up a full straight-away lead on the competition, but a caution on lap seventeen of the twenty lap main event would erase the big lead. On the restart, Tommie Seets, Jr. would challenge Long for the lead and would actually move past Long for the lead as they battle through turns three and four on lap eighteen. However, Long would drive back under Seets down the front stretch and retake the lead and hold off Seets for the win. Mike Harrison would claim third while Jeff Leka made a late race dash past several cars to finish fourth. Ray Walsh would round out the top five.

Pontoon Beach, IL (July 2, 2010) A perfect day for racing brought out a solid field of cars on this holiday weekend at Tri-City Speedway. Craig Smith of Godfrey, Illinois claimed his third consecutive Super Late Model main event win at he swept the action by winning his heat race, dash and the feature event. Smith led all twenty-five laps, but the final lap nearly got away from him. Mark Voigt made a last lap effort for the lead and drove in hard in turns three and four to attempt a pass on Smith, but Voigt would make contact with Smith, sending Voigt into a spin in turn four. Smith raced to the finish line for what he thought was the checkered flag and the win, but the caution light had come on for Voigt's spin. Smith actually pulled on the infield and came to the scales for post race inspection, when track officials motioned him back to the track to finish the final lap. Smith would hang on for the win as he held off Bryan Collins last lap effort. Collins would take second with Billy Laycock finishing third. Chad Zobrist would take the fourth spot and Brian Wolfmeier rounded out the top five.
