Hagen started fourteenth in the main event and drove his RFMS Racing owned Liberty Village/McGladrey & Pullen Spike/Esslinger Ford past Jerry Coons for the lead on lap fifteen and held off Coon's challenges to regain the lead to earn the victory in the twenty-five lap main event.
