Pontoon Beach, IL (August 7, 2005) Michael Kloos took the lead early on in the twenty-five lap main event for the UMP Late Models and then fought off the challenges of Bryan Collins in the closing laps to take the victory. Collins ran Kloos down as they battled through lapped traffic, but once they cleared the traffic, Kloos reassumed the lead and went on to the win.
