PONTOON BEACH, IL (July 14, 2011) – Scott Bloomquist of Mooresburg, TN; Brian Birkhofer of Muscatine, IA; Earl Pearson Jr. of Jacksonville, FL; and Don O’Neal of Martinsville, IN captured Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series heat races on preliminary night at Tri-City Speedway. Rain had delayed the program a couple of times earlier in evening, but a harder shower brought the show to an abrupt end as the UMP Modifieds had completed only six laps of their feature event. By Steve Birmingham May 29, 2004; Granite City, IL -Tom Krankel scored the hat trick Saturday, winning his third straight Ironman Late Model feature at Tri-City Speedway.
