Rain had delayed the program a couple of times earlier in evening, but a harder shower brought the show to an abrupt end as the UMP Modifieds had completed only six laps of their feature event. Krankel Races to Third Ironman Late Model Win! By Steve Birmingham   May 29, 2004; Granite City, IL -Tom Krankel scored the hat trick Saturday, winning his third straight Ironman Late Model feature at Tri-City Speedway. Krankel won his qualifying heat but discovered an oil leak while waiting on the front stretch for the start of the Dash for Cash. Pontoon Beach, IL (May 22, 2005) Bryan Collins used the high side to move past Mark Oller on the fifth lap of the twenty-five lap main event in the UMP Late Model division and cruised to victory. Collins, of Elsberry, MO, kept a steady and smooth pace around the top of the 1/4 mile oval enroute to the win. Oller raced the low side and brought his mount home in second.
