Pontoon Beach, IL (July 27th, 2017) - Overnight rain and persistent showers this morning has forced Tri-City Speedway to cancel tonight's Illinois Sprint Week event that featured the MOWA Sprint Car Series as well as UMP DIRTcar Late Models. The event will not be rescheduled. The event for Friday, July 28th featuring UMP Modifieds $1,000, B-Mods $1,000, UMP 4-Cylinders $300 and Street Stocks is still on as scheduled!

Tri-City Speedway cancels this weekend’s events due to excessive heat warnings!

St. Louis, MO (July 19th, 2017) - This weekend's action at Tri-City Speedway, Belle-Clair Speedway and Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 have been canceled due to a multiple-day excessive heat advisory for the St. Louis area. From the National Weather Service St. Louis Office: “A major heat wave is expected to unfold on Tuesday and then grip the area through Saturday. Dangerous levels of heat are forecast with the most oppressive conditions occurring Thursday through Saturday when highs will range from 99 to 105 degrees, and afternoon/early evening heat index values will be from 105-115. This Weekend’s Events at Tri-City and Macon Postponed

BATAVIA, OH (April 27, 2017) - This weekend’s Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series events at Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, IL and Macon Speedway in Macon, IL have been postponed.  With the forecast for rain and thunderstorms on an already heavily saturated track and facility at both venues, Speedway and Series officials have agreed to postpone the events. Rachel Barton crowned Miss Tri-City Speedway! Lily Burke awarded Miss Tri-City Speedway People’s Choice winner!

Rachael Barton, age 23 from Granite City was crowned on Friday, April 14th 2017 Miss Tri-City Speedway.  Rachael is currently pursuing her Master’s degree from Lindenwood University in Professional Counseling.  While pursuing her continued education Rachael works at Children’s Home and Aid providing counseling and empowerment under privileged children.  Lily Burke, age 18 from Granite City was also crown Friday, April 14th 2017 as Miss Tri-City Speedway People Choice, Lily is currently attending Granite City High School.  Following graduation Lily plans to attending Paul Mitchell International.  The Miss Tri-City Speedway Pageant is designed to promote greater public understanding, awareness and [...]

Rain washes out racing for Friday, April 7th

With over two inches of rain today on an already soaked ground, both Tri-City Speedway and Belle-Clair Speedway have been forced to cancel their racing program scheduled for this Friday, April 5th.
