Pontoon Beach, IL (March 20, 2007) Tri-City Speedway in Pontoon Beach, IL has decided to push the start of their 2007 racing season back one week. Inclement weather over the last week has delayed construction on concrete wall that is going up around the new 3/8 mile oval. The season will kick off with an Open Practice on Sunday, April 1st from 1-5pm (Pit Gates Open at 11:00). General Admission will be FREE.

Then, Opening Night will be Friday, April 6th with "Kenny Wallace Night" with Kenny Wallace racing his modified. Special Opening Ceremonies Tribute to the History of Tri-City Speedway.

Tri-City Speedway is located in Pontoon Beach, Illinois. The track is located across the Mississippi River from St. Louis, MO. Take exit 4 off of I-270 and then go a 1/2 mile south on SR 203.
